NoteAn OUTSTANDING specimen of this RARE and seldom offered species, from the ‘old days’ of Colombian availability. Beautiful colour. Supremely well-formed pattern. Now extremely difficult to obtain, coming only from old collections. An exquisite jewel for the Conidae specialist. Data: Off Cabo de la Vela, Guajira Peninsula, Colombia; upon sand/mud substrate; 120 m; trawled; 1990. Size: 34.2 mm. Grading: Gem. Provenance: JES Collection; London / Melbourne.
