NoteSPECTACULAR DENSE SPINY AND WIDE FORM WITH YELLOW - PURPLE UNIQUE COLORS WOOOOW!! Without a doubt this is one of the most spiny elegant wide Spondylus limbatus with purple-yellow color combination I have ever seen and found with superb spines intact in the dorsal valve and extreme extended scales-spines in the ventral valve. For the dorsal valve you can admire the most crazy irregular spines a long flat spine and multiple tiny , even some like a hair near lip. The purplish background color is clearly dominant on the dorsal side with some light dark micro spots. Ventral valve present a flowering extended scales-spines between yellow-brown and purplish elegant colors. Extremely rare conditions , colors and size. Small pieces are so hard to get and with Museum conditions are ultra rare. For aesthetic collectors and lovers of unique rare masterpieces. F+++-Gem. Found not attached between mud and big buried stones about 6m to 7m deep. Barra de Navidad, Jalisco, Mexico. December 2025.
