NoteMULTIPLE LONG SPINES FORM WITH GREAT LIGHT BROWN COLORATION!! Formidable first 3 to 4 long intact spines varices with light exquisite brown coloration. The lip spines are really extended with intact conditions and really thick. Apex, lip and siphon really intact. Light erosion in the spire side and some natural imperfections as usual for the species and size. F+++-F++. Extraordinary very high selection of superb Homalocantha oxyacantha with elegant long spines and wonderful sculpture. Most of the open sea specimens are really ugly with several damage, no spines, erosion, absent apex and even spire, scars and simply impossible to clean with thick calcareous attachments. Inside the lagoon of Barra de Navidad there is a population with superb conditions but really hard to find, they camouflage between dense thick mud-algae and most of them are completely buried making almost impossible sometimes to find. Only for professional and advancer divers. Here you can admire a great spiny ones , choose your favorite int this great auction. For advancer collectors and lover of spiny shells. Found in muddy bottom attached between stones about 5-7m deep. Barra de Navidad, Jalisco, Mexico. January 2025. Value for this Outstanding long superb spines and thick lip: 45-55 euro.
