UMBRACULIDAE - Umbraculum umbraculum (Lightfoot, 1786). FIRST TIME OFFERED THIS ULTRA RARE SPECIES FROM MEXICO!!! Ultra rare species, first time I have found and that I can offer, absent in many collections specially coming from Mexico. Umbraculum umbraculum, commonly known as the umbrella slug, is a widely distributed marine gastropod found in almost all tropical and warm temperate seas worldwide. But for the Mexican west is almost impossible to get, 2 Decades looking for shells and this is the first one ever. A real ultra rare species. The shells shows an amazing white coloration around and really nice glossy brown ventral middle colors with impressive crater structure. The dorsal side shows a really intact apex slightly elevated, a really flat shells like "totilla", irregular lip conditions as usual for this species. F+++. Do not miss this unique opportunity to get this very rare beauty in superb conditions. For advancer collectors and lovers of rarities. Found under volcanic stone near corals about 5-6m deep.
