NoteOne very nice specimen of Chiton cumingsi, found among sand at high tide. Most probably this specimen was caught by a seagull (Larus dominicanus) which ate them regularly. The 25 mm size is the specimen curved, if flattened it would measure about 42 mm (its valves can be dettached with warm water too).
