NoteSPECIAL EXTRAORDINARY CONDITIONS AND PERIOSTRACUM WOOOOW!! Really excellent spire conditions with the most rare perfect-intact apex. The lip is extremely thick, white elegant aperture with original operculum and the most beautiful strong yellow color form under the periostracum. This species is rarely seen walking above ground; they are generally nocturnal, burrowing during the day and rarely found eating above ground where they can be seen. It is very difficult to detect them where they are hidden under the sand, unless the sand has been disturbed. The periostracum is very thick and slippery. A common feature of this species is that it always has growth natural lines that form its shell and clearly mark the lines of its life. Very tiny and insignificant scar near lip and some perio tiny part absent not really detracting the beauty otherwise Gem. For advancer Conus collectors. F+++ Found buried in sand-mud between 7 and 10m deep. Cuastecomates, Jalisco, Mexico. August 2025.
