| Note | A truly exquisite specimen of the very difficult to obtain SAINT VINCENT & GRENADINES FORM, the jewel-like quality of which can only be fully appreciated with the shell in the hand. Beautiful colour: sandy beiege ground, decorated with bluish white maculae, and porcellaneous white margins. Hypermature, with pronounced marginal callosity, replete with well-developed peripheral denticles. Magnificent thick gloss. An opportunity for an advanced Cypraeidae specialist to acquire a ‘BEST of the best’ specimen of this very seldom offered form. Data: Chateaubelair Bay, Saint David, Saint Vincent, Saint Vincent and the Grenadines; upon coarse sand covered reef substrate, under small slab; 16-18 m; dived; 1991. Size: 24.4 mm. Grading: Gem.
