NoteSpecimen, lacking a periostracum, is beige with coppery-brown mottling, has a well-preserved beige lip, and a perforation on its dorsum. P. episcopalis auriformis differs from P. episcopalis corticosus by having a finer needle, a less rounded last whorl, and a more pronounced columellar fold. It was found among the leaf litter of a humid forest at an altitude of 1450 meters above sea level by local people in January 2025.
