| Note | THE LARGEST, MOST BEAUTIFUL OF THE BORING SPECIES. The farreri from the Yellow Sea is a rough but always attractive species, often with small scales. We received the present shells as farreri akazara Kuroda, 1932, and the shells indeed correspond very well to the akazara type with broad rows of scales and a round shape. This gigantic 115 mm shell has a sunray pattern with scales. For documentation and pleasure, a very dark and an ultra-bright red farreri are brought together. The 115 mm is one of the largest specimens ever found. The top of the shell collection and in reality this set is beautiful, while it is difficult to reproduce this beauty in photos.
