Family | Trochidae |
Name | Tegula atra , (Lesson, 1831) |
Size | 43(H) x 49(W) mm |

Note | One nice and large specimen of Tegula atra, an endemic trochid species from the southeastern Pacific. This species is always found with the protoconch and first whorls eroded and, as they are collected by fishermen, they are collected with hooks which leave damage on the lips an shell. A low price, due to the chips in lip, for an interesting trochid from the southeastern Pacific. |
