Note | ROV collected from a geodia sponge in 70 metres of water south of Hopetown in Western Australia during April 2020. This specimen has a striking dorsal pattern with a white background and faint longitudinal blue chevron pattern poking through the almost symmetrical brown spots. Dorsal markings are horizontal bands of tan spots that typify the plurifasciata form. Perfect siphons and a mottled brown base. Graded Fine++ due to growth break running along the shells columnar margin. Lateral photos on request. Rare colour form !!! |
