| Note | Exceptionally large and massive/solid specimen with strong body whorl gloss. The shell has a high weight/size ratio, excellent morphological features and super broad (fat) form. This specimen is not only heavy, but displays desirable and intricate patterning, and noteworthy intense coloration. The shell is a remarkable example of the beauty demonstrated within this species. Collected by diver at 16 meters on reef between algae and grass off Hospital Point, Guam, Western Pacific in 2007. The specimen is hard to flaw and may exhibit some minor and subtle blemishes under high scrutiny. Grade: GEM minus. |
