| Note | Large specimen with a broad, depressed and solid form. The shell features a strong greenish dorsum speckled with small brown maculae. The shell exhibits sparse lateral wall spots intermixed over the lateral wall callosities. A beautiful and exceptionally large example of a common species. The lovely appearance is accented by a glossy nacre and moderate rostration. Diver taken off Aden, Yemen among seaweed at 2-4 meters in 2016. The shell is slightly growthy on the anterior extremity, columellar area. Grade: GEM minus. |
