Striking thalamega subspecies from the southern zone of the thalamega range. The shell has excellent weight, sharp contoured extremities and an integrated mottled dorsal pattern. It displays a marvelous and distinctive dorsal line with a gleaming black/brown base and well-developed aperture teeth. The specimen was lifted from a Spirastrella sponge nested on a moderate-sized reef by a Scuba diver at 44 meters off Kalbarri, Western Australia in 2017. The specimen displays minor and insignificant wobbles on the mid-dorsum and anterior ramp. Grade: GEM minus
