| Note | Fabulous dorsal blotch with various displays of interesting designs and patterns hallmark this specimen. The shell shows superb nacre gloss, perfect extremities and aperture. Uncommon to see such broad, dark and interesting dorsal blotch collage. The saulae was collected in a tangle net at 50-70 meters off Balut Island, Mindanao, Philippines in 12/2024. Some subnacre blisters evident on the dorsum down the anterior ramp. Grade: F+++/GEM. |
