Note | This is a particularly pale pink specimen. F++ It has a small depression near central dorsum which is a natural defect and is fairly inconspicuous. There is a minor predator drill hole in the ventral aspect of one of the early whorls. Lip and anterior canal are mature and in perfect condition. Collected crabbed at night in 35 meters of water in a sand patch on low profile limestone reef. No one has night dived this area for many years and no freshly dived shells are coming onto the market. |
