| Note | This super glazed battled scared maritiana is eye-catching ugly and beautiful all at the same time! It's a shell that begs to be picked up to share its story. It has survived from being bashed on rocks and scared for life with algal spots and a bout of 'Shell Pox"!
It has soldered on and covered this with thick, glossy nacre. Collected in 1983 amongst large rocks and turbulent water, West of Waterfall Bay Christmas Island Indian Ocean.
From an old collection in Australia.
