| Note | SPECIAL DARK BROWNISH!! Deep brown colors with some little Some time ago the information on this species was confused between tiny white dots around. Conus brunneus and Connus brunneus andrangae and confusion as a synonym of Conus bartschi. It was said that specimens with more white spots and higher nodules are C. brunneus andrangae and specimens with darker or absent white spots were C. brunneus brunneus. So far it is confusing to me after many years of collecting this species that some populations are completely uniformly colored only brown with special and classic shape of Conus brunneus and others with very white spots and even different body shapes. A very big difference. Perhaps it should be studied further. In this auction I show you the one with really dark brown some granulate and white interesting dots. See pictures!! Brown dark background color. Almost lost scar between the pattern in the ventral side. F++-F+++! Really beautiful special color!!! For serious collectors and Conus lovers.
