Family | Turbinellidae |
Name | Turbinella angulata , (Lightfoot, 1786) |
Size | 250 mm, w/o |
Locality | CelestĂșn, Yucatan, Mexico |
Note | A pretty specimen with a nice size. It still has some of the periostracum left.
The shell is in good condition, with the only defects being a handful of small chips on the lip that are barely noticeable, and a little wear on the apex, other than that, the rest of the shell is perfect.
Displays really nicely.
The shell was collected alive by local Mexican divers. Full data will be provided in a data tag with the shell. |
