Note | A large and superb specimen of a classic, dark Edithburgh form. Dorsum with numerous coalescent, ultra-dark chestnut maculae, across a golden honey ground. A few typical tiny inclusions, seen in almost specimens from this region. Now obtainable only from choice old collections. Size: 75.3 mm (length). Grading: F+++. Data: Off Edithburgh, Yorke Peninsula, South Australia, Australia; upon sand/rubble/sponge substrate, upon sponge; 11 m; dived; 1980. |
