Despite its being a relatively common species, exceedingly few specimens, only from certain localities, attain the size, colour, and above all, QUALITY of the current specimen. Elaborate, incredibly well preserved rich pink frills upon antique ivory. In a different league to the majority of examples offered. One of the world's most exquisite seashells when seen like this.
