Size | 61.6 mm |
Locality | Australia |
Note | An absolutely exceptional specimen in every respect, and unquestionably one of the BEST specimens I have ever seen of this form. Incredibly rich colour, especially with regards the ventrum: atypical yellow, orange and ivory, (see above right image). Densely deposited, ultra-dark coalescent dorsal maculae. Meticulously curated, with the appearance of having been collected this year. Readily available in standard size and colour, but rarely seen like this. A sorrentensis for the connoisseur. Size: 61.6 mm (length). Grading: Gem. Data: Off Sorrento, Western Australia, Australia; upon reef substrate, upon sponge covered rock; 16 m; dived; 1990. Provenance: JES private collection; Melbourne/London. |
