Note | An exceptional specimen of this most coveted of all Trivia species, with provenance from four famous collections. Ultra-large size and sheer perfection. Delicate pink, with prominent raised white ridges. The specimen was with Raybaudi in the 1990s. Brooks purchased many of the rare cowries from the Raybaudi collection, and Hiscock purchased the renowned Brooks collection of Cypraeidae. The original Brooks/Raybaudi(?) and Hiscock labels accompany the specimen, (and the JES label may be printed directly from shellauction, as usual). Definitely for the advanced Triviidae, or South African specialist. Size: 21.2 (length). Grading: Gem.
