CYMBIOLISTA JANSAE: I offer two exceptional specimens of this endemic Queensland species in this sale, both exhibiting fabulous patterns, and both of the highest possible quality for this usually very rough, deep-water trawled species. Exceptional preservation of the ultra-delicate outer apertural lip and siphonal canal, left in its completely natural state, with no artificial smoothing. Many examples were collected during the legendary 1980s Queensland trawls, yet exceedingly few are of the quality of the current two specimens. Now obtainable only from old collections. The BEST of the best. Size: 124.6 mm (length). Grading: F+++. Data: Off Cape Moreton, Queensland, Australia; upon sand substrate; 60-120 m; trawled; 1982.
