| Note | Very pretty shell with distinct and very dark chocolate spots on a grey cream background. ROV collected west of Barrow Island off Onslow. Unfortunately the shell has a couple of cracks on its dorsum. These cannot be felt by the finger and I think the shell has been bitten by a fish and survived then re-glazed the cracks. This does not detract from the appearance of the shell but can be seen when photographed. Detailed images supplied upon request. A VERY PRETTY AND EXCEPTIONAL SHELL. Fine+++ |
