Note | A truly beautiful specimen of eludens. Rarely do we see specimens over or near 70mm. This specimen at 69.6mm is a MONSTER and also exhibits a wonderful dark dorsum. It is an amazing shell in hand, like a brick with a wonderful, strong flared base. It is even more impressive with a rich blue coloured halo around the top edge of stunningly tiger spotted margins. Graded F+++ with a 1cm long ridged crease on top of the dorsum and a micro nacre chip and a natural stress crack in the base. Diver collected in 25M on large Sows ear shaped sponge, off Muiron Island, Exmouth, N.W. Australia. This specimen is a real statement in any collection. |
