BIPLEX PERCA: The BEST specimen I have ever seen of this true wonder of nature. Every expansive, multi-pointed flange PERFECT. Ultra-rich colour. Fully mature outer apertural lip. Elongate siphonal canal. Protoconch intact. Impossible to get better. When one considers that the specimen was obtained via trawling, its perfection is all the more remarkable. Although readily available in low quality from the China Sea, it is extremely rare to obtain a specimen of perfection, and of the more delicate and exquisite Philippine form.
