| Note | Amazing example of this uncommon species. The interior is usually pink in the Lake Albert form, this one has an almost red interior. The interior appears to have an extra thick layer of callus which gives it it's colour. This is so interesting and stunning. Rare to find an interior like this in freshwater bivalves. Just a few tiny chips in the margins, otherwise the quality is very nice. |
